Sales Manager (Part Time)

As a Part‑Time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families, welcoming new parents, grandparents, and helping them prepare for first‑day of school and other milestones. You will support the brand by fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment and continually educate yourself and your team about product styles, features, and benefits. What You’ll Do Become a product and brand expert across Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, Skip*Hop, and Little Planet. Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product questions. Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor and foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers. Consistently model service standards and the omni‑channel experience while coaching others to success. Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow‑through. Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns promptly and with appropriate resolution. Utilize customer feedback to identify opportunities and implement actions to drive results. Build customer loyalty through company‑sponsored programs, including credit offers. Offer consistent, in‑the‑moment feedback to the store team and raise performance concerns to the Store Manager. Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation. Support the store team with asset protection through consistent customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls. Qualities We’d Love in a Candidate A positive and solutions‑oriented mindset. Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.). A diverse set of skills and experiences. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder. Compensation The compensation for this position ranges from $18.25–$22.25 per hour based on experience and location.
