Position Details
- Location: Long Beach, CA
- Position Type: Full-Time
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Caseload: Assigned based on experience and district needs
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support to students.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and daily instructional activities.
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and positive behavior strategies when needed.
- Help students remain engaged and successful throughout the school day.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
- Experience supporting students with behavioral needs is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
