The posted compensation range of $20.86 - $29.46 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at CommonSpirit Medical Group - Family Medicine - Ooltewah, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You'll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility.

Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.

• Performs basic nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.
• Collects patient data such as vital signs; notes how the patient looks and acts, or responds to stimuli, and reports this information accordingly.
• Prepares and administers injections, performs routine tests, treats wounds, and changes bandages.
• Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
• Administers certain prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.

Job Requirements

Required

• Diploma Of Nursing Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing program required. and 1 year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting, upon hire
• Licensed Practical Nurse: GA, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
