Hospitalist - Physician

St Elizabeth Physicians is seeking an MD or DO, who has completed advanced graduate medical education in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and is board eligible or board certified in their respective field, to join our expanding hospital medicine team. We provide 24/7 care to approximately 500+ acutely ill patients in the inpatient hospital setting across four hospitals and are looking for a physician committed to compassionate patient‑centered care. Requested start: 2026 (other timeline inquiries welcomed). The Hospitalist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage care of patients hospitalized with complex acute health problems and facilitate the continuum of care from admission through discharge. Job Type Regular Scheduled Hours 40 hours per week Responsibilities Initial assessment, ongoing evaluation and management, and discharge preparation of hospitalist patients, including but not limited to obtaining pertinent medical and non‑medical history, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, ordering pharmacologic therapies, consulting and collaborating with a diverse complement of specialists, executing complex medical decision‑making, communicating with patient families, and coordinating discharge.
