Account Specialist, Spasticity and Movement Disorder - Fairfax, VA

AbbVie seeks an Account Specialist to promote spasticity and movement disorder products across community practices and health systems in the Fairfax, VA area. The role involves building customer relationships, delivering clinical training, and driving sales while managing complex accounts in neurology, pain medicine, and related specialties.

Responsibilities

• Promote assigned products to meet or exceed sales goals across assigned community and hospital accounts
• Identify customer needs in training, clinical operations, and reimbursement; coordinate with appropriate AbbVie resources
• Deliver anatomical and procedural training on injection paradigms to physicians, residents, fellows, and hospital personnel
• Collaborate with other specialists to execute resident and fellow training programs within health system accounts
• Utilize sales and data resources to enhance product productivity while implementing U.S. Marketing Plan

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years technical experience with 3+ years sales experience and high school diploma
• Ability to manage complex sales, learn procedural and anatomical information quickly, and present to diverse audiences
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products in health systems and private practice preferred
• Valid driver's license, ability to pass drug screening, and safe driving record
• HCIR credentialing eligibility including background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, and state/local licenses
• Physical capability to lift/pull 25–100 lb training models
• Willingness to travel extensively and attend overnight training events and sales meetings
