Summary of Duties:

• Assists in planning the daily operation of the terminal or area of responsibility and supervision of personnel assigned.
• Greets employees/agents, modifies schedules and assignments when needed for position coverage, and recommends discipline of employees.
• Plays an active role in overall safety program and assures operations are performed in accordance with established safety practices.
• Maintains high level of communication (verbal and written) with Duty Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Oversees the scheduling requirements for employees/agents under their supervision.
• Makes assignments to assure that positions covered and that the Client is being services in accordance with their needs.
• Responsible for replacing staff due to call offs and time off requested.
• Monitors agents, recommends discipline, and documents employee performance.
• Provides direction for employee through appropriate communication.
• Greets employees and assists them in providing high level of Customer Service to clients, passengers, and other employees.
• Acts as a safety monitor in their area to make sure that employees are using proper lifting techniques and that all safety regulations are being met.
• Assesses equipment and building maintenance needs and reports findings for repair or replacement.
• Prioritizes work assignments to maintain efficiency or replacement.
• Monitors sign-in and sign-out of employee timesheets to assure accuracy of employee's hours.
• Forwards timesheets to Operations Manager for review and corrections.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Observes and reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to their manager or proper authority.
• May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on Manager's needs or airline activity.
• Ensure office is clean and presentable for next shift (including vacuuming, disposal of trash and wiping down office surfaces).
• Report all employee injuries to HR and management immediately.

• Able to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Possess empathetic abilities in dealing with passengers and their needs.
• Maintains communication with other agents and managers.
• Relates information regarding events or situations that may effect operations
• Working Conditions:
• May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time.
• Must be flexible to work scheduled and/or non-scheduled hours as required.

Hourly starting wage: $24.25
