About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active ACLS certification from approved vendor Active BLS certification from approved vendor Must-Have: - Candidates must be willing to float throughout various units - RTO (Request Time Off) cannot exceed 7 days - No RTO during the first week of assignment - Must have a driver's license to verify residency - No hits on state license to practice Description: The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team. This team floats to provide support across various units. PCU travelers may be floated to different units during their contract. Occasionally, they may be floated to the Emergency Department or PACU. They provide care for patients with inpatient orders waiting for a bed. Previous travel experience is preferred. Candidates must comply with all background check standards. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept. Candidates must list all facilities, shifts, and departments they are willing to work in. Flexibility with locations and shifts may expedite securing an offer. It is important to adhere to all compliance requirements.
