Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment. This role involves operating specialized equipment to create images that demonstrate organ and tissue functionality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Operate imaging equipment to generate high-quality diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Document processes and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosing conditions and provide critical data for patient management and research.

Schedule

This position requires availability Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There are no weekend or on-call requirements associated with this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Experience in Cardiac Imaging.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
• Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.

Work Environment

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work across two facilities located in Mt. Clemens, MI, and Waterford, MI.

Technology Used

The facility utilizes Cerner, 4DM, and Synapse for electronic medical records and imaging systems.

Dress Code

Employees are expected to wear solid color scrubs, with no prints.
