Iron Skillet Restaurant , located inside Kenly 95 Petro Travel Center, is hiring experienced and motivated Line Cooks to join our high-volume, full-service restaurant kitchen.
If you have experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, Grill Cook, or Prep Cook and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we offer steady hours, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements:
Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and portion standards.
- Work assigned stations such as grill, sauté, breakfast, or prep.
- Execute orders accurately in a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient service.
- Assist with prep work, inventory awareness, and restocking supplies.
- Comply with all health department and company safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook, Kitchen Cook, or Restaurant Cook.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Experience in a high-volume or full-service restaurant preferred.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
