Weatherford CygNet SCADA Consultant
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Contract (6+ Months)
Responsibilities:
- Build CygNet SCADA system architecture, consulting, requirements gathering, design including writing functional and technical specifications, developing best practice designs
- CygNet System installation, implementation, configuration, integration, performance testing, and tuning.
- Develop/Modify DTF based on field device requirements.
- Build CygNet Studios HMI screens, reports.
- Create VB.Net scripts to develop custom tools based on customer requirements.
- Well versed with CygNet Utility tools for data management and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with other team members & customers/end users
- Documentation
Skillset:
- Minimum 4 years of hands experience on CygNet SCADA applications (CygNet Explorer, Cygnet Studios, FMS, CygNet Utilities)
- Experience implementing CygNet system and migrating other SCADA systems to SCADA systems
- Knowledge of Database (Ex MS SQL /Oracle)
- Good communication skill to interact with business, understand requirement, develop functional and technical specs document.
- Knowledge of Process Automation with I&A Experience
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas would be an added advantage
