Combo Welders & Pipefitters

Pay: $27-$31 HR/DOE | Location: Maryville, TN | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Combo Welder
  • Perform TIG, MIG, stick, and/or flux-cored welding on pipe and structural components
  • Weld pipe systems for commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
  • Cut, fit, tack, and weld piping systems and components
  • Prepare surfaces and materials for welding
  • Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
  • Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders, and related tools
  • Work closely with pipefitters, project supervisors, and field crews
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
• Pipefitter
  • Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and benders
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications
  • Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment
  • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Combo Welding -OR- Commercial/Industrial Pipefitting
• Welders must pass a weld test
• Must be familiar with butt welds on carbon and stainless
• All trades must have their own basic hand tools
• OSHA 10 OR 30 preferred
• Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
• Perform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Complete all assignments requiring physical activity for a full shift
• Work all hours assigned
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Must pass drug screen and all required background checks
