As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Tarrytown, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, support access and badge processes, and monitor entry activity to help address security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Answer phones, greet incoming guests, manage visitor sign-in processes, and communicate access procedures in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Support a healthcare location by coordinating with staff regarding deliveries, appointments, and/or access requests while maintaining awareness of security-related issues at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
