HR Business Partner (HRBP) Location: Morris Plains, NJ / Chicago, IL (Hybrid Opportunity)Department: Human Resources About the Role Tredence is looking for a strategic and people-centric HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the organization. In this role, you will align HR strategy with business priorities, champion a high-performance culture, and drive meaningful impact across talent, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.This is a high-visibility role with broad ownership and the opportunity to shape how Tredence attracts, develops, engages, and retains top talent. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Partnership • Partner with senior business leaders to design and execute HR strategies that directly support business goals and long-term growth. • Analyze HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, productivity, and internal mobility, to generate insights and guide leadership decision-making. • Lead change management initiatives, including organizational redesign, capability building, and culture transformation aligned with Tredence's leadership principles. • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to employees and managers, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous development. Talent Engagement, Management & Development • Own end-to-end talent processes, including onboarding, goal setting, performance management, talent reviews, feedback mechanisms, and career development. • Drive succession planning and leadership pipeline development to build organizational depth and resilience. • Lead employee engagement initiatives by gathering employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, skip-level meetings, stay interviews, and pulse checks. • Analyze engagement data and develop targeted action plans to improve employee experience, retention, morale, and organizational effectiveness. • Partner with business leaders to build a highly engaged, high-performing workplace culture across teams and functions. Employee Relations & Culture • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews, translating findings into actionable retention strategies. • Partner with leaders to proactively address employee concerns and enhance workplace culture. • Continuously improve HR processes to enhance operational efficiency and the overall employee experience. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and practices. • Handle sensitive employee matters with sound judgment, discretion, and legal compliance. Projects & Initiatives • Lead and contribute to regional and global HR initiatives in response to evolving business and talent priorities. • Support strategic workforce planning, organization design, and culture-building programs. Qualifications & Skills Required • 6-8 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a lead HRBP role with independent ownership of a large business unit. • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Services, Analytics, Technology, or Consulting environments. • Demonstrated success partnering with senior business leaders to drive organizational and talent outcomes. • Strong experience leading employee engagement programs, interpreting engagement survey results, developing action plans, and improving retention and employee experience metrics. • Proven experience managing employee relations and talent management initiatives. • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging HR metrics and workforce data to drive decisions. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field. Preferred • Master's degree or MBA with a specialization in Human Resources. • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR. • Experience with HRIS platforms, HR analytics tools, and U.S. employment law. • Experience supporting geographically distributed teams and fast-growing organizations.
