Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 10-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM–9:30 PM or 12:00 PM–10:30 PM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to ambulatory surgical and procedural patients in a 25-bed PACU unit
• Monitor and manage patient recovery following anesthesia, with a typical daily caseload of approximately 35 cases
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team to ensure safe patient transitions and outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Contribute to a supportive team culture, including when working alongside students and new hires

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
• Minimum 3–4 years of clinical experience in a PACU setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Candidates who have worked at this facility must have been separated for 6 or more months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in peri-anesthesia nursing within an ambulatory surgery environment
• Prior travel nursing experience (not required but welcomed)
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical setting
