Shipping Auditor – 1st Shift - $18 an hour

East Moline, Illinois

7am-3:30pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Auditor to support our Shipping and Receiving operations. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring orders are prepared and shipped correctly.

• Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
• Conduct visual inspections of orders to ensure compliance with specifications, labeling, and packaging standards
• Audit shipping and receiving processes to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Accurately enter shipment data, inventory movements, and audit findings into systems
• Use Microsoft Office and internal systems to document audits and generate reports
• Operate RF scanners to track, verify, and update inventory and shipment information
• Assist with material handling, packaging, and general warehouse tasks as needed
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with team members
• Maintain organized records and ensure high attention to detail in all tasks
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment

• Experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environment
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory or order tracking
• Excellent attention to detail when inspecting orders, labels, and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Prior experience auditing shipping and receiving processes
• Experience in inventory control or material handling
• Familiarity with packaging standards and shipping documentation
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Ability to work effectively within a small team setting

• Consistent Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) schedule

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, which may vary in temperature depending on the season. Noise levels are typically low to moderate but may increase during active operations. Daily tasks involve working with computers, Microsoft Office, and RF scanning equipment in a shipping and receiving setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bettendorf,IA.
