Personal Support Instructor

Job Summary:The Personal Support Instructor (PSI) provides daily care and behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The PSI helps individuals achieve greater self-sufficiency through structured routines, goal-based activities, and hands-on support aligned with each person’s Individual Support Plan (ISP).Key Responsibilities:Assist with daily living tasks and household responsibilitiesImplement ISP goals and behavior strategiesSupport community participation and recreational activitiesMaintain accurate documentation and progress notesAttend required training and agency meetingsAdminister medications and document in Medication Administration RecordProvide 24-hour emergency support as neededMaintain a safe and supportive environmentCommunicate attendance issues or emergencies to supervisorsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED)Clean driving record, valid CA Driver’s License, and current auto insurance1–4 years experience in direct support preferredBackground check requiredStrong documentation and time management skillsPart-time positionsMust be flexible for all shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr Creating A Legacy Inc
