Payroll Processor

Overview McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Payroll Processor to join the team in the Boise, ID office. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of payroll experience, with a strong background in multi-state payroll. Responsibilities Process in-house payroll on a weekly basis. Prepare and submit Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage certified payroll reports accurately and on time. Support the Payroll Manager with processing multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Review and verify time sheets, job codes, and cost allocations for accuracy. Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, wage changes, and deductions. Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with accounting and project management teams to support accurate job costing and reporting. Support payroll-related audits and provide required documentation as needed. Qualifications Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant experience. 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel In-house payroll processing experience. Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Experience in a construction company environment, including job costing.
