Store 2709023: 2942 N 16th St, Phoenix, Arizona 85016 Shift Availability Flexible Availability Job Type Full-time Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner. Responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available. Ensures that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents and issues are reported in a timely manner. Satisfactorily completes all Car Wash Attendant job duties. Understands how to troubleshoot basic XPT and DRB issues and follows the "DRB Protocol". Reads the "Supervisor Level DRB" training course. Attends Preventative Maintenance Training and completes a 5‑day Preventative Maintenance program. Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code. Has a minimum of 6 months as CWA before advancement. Duties and Job Breakdown Percentages 60% Customer Interaction 30% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining) 5% Opening/Closing Procedures 5% Basic Troubleshooting Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High School diploma or GED preferred. Excellent communication skills including active listening. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Ability to anticipate customer needs. Able to work weekends. Able to demonstrate responsibility while Site Manager is off site. Enforces all safety policies. Understands the functions of all chemical room equipment. Assists Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs. Able to clean out solenoids. Physical Demands In performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently stands and walks throughout the workday; uses hands, reaches with hands and arms, climbs or balances, stops, crouches, and kneels. The employee works in damp and humid conditions, and also in outdoor variable weather conditions. The employee may have to lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Experience Customer service and some Car Wash experience preferred. Working Environment The incumbent must perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others. This position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud with hearing protection required, along with other PPE. The employee must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols which requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.
