You will run consistent Monday through Friday routes delivering specialty gases and supplies to our retail locations, and you will be home every night.$3,000 Sign-On Bonus. As you grow with us, you will be trained to operate microbulk and bulk transport vehicles carrying liquid nitrogen and CO2. This is a real opportunity to expand your skill set and your value as a driver without having to change companies to do it.This is a physical, active role for drivers who like staying engaged throughout the day rather than sitting behind the wheel for long stretches. Day to day, you will:Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep safety items in good working orderSafely deliver hard goods and compressed gas cylinders, and return empties to the plant for refillingMaintain load manifests and vehicle documents, balancing counts before and after deliveriesBuild strong customer relationships and help customers manage their gas and hard good levelsOperate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipmentComply with all DOT and OSHA regulationsWhat You BringClass A CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes (we will pay for HazMat)At least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 yearsNo at-fault accidents or moving violations in the previous 3 yearsAbility to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbsComfort working outdoors in a range of conditions and staying active throughout the dayExperience handling compressed gases is a plusApply today and join a team that keeps you close to home while helping you grow your career.Maine Oxy is an equal opportunity employer.
