Assistant Director Of Nursing (Non-Union)

Emergency Department

Full Time / 4 days per week / 8pm 6am / Some Weekends

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the clinical and operational management of the Nursing Emergency Department, ensuring that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained; participates in developing departmental plans and programs as required; collects and provides data on unit activities, PI issues, etc. as required.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• 3-5 years ED experience
• Team oriented
• Skills validation assessments, competency assessments, and orientation overview
• Excellent communication and organizational skills - can work independently
• 2 years of leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Team Leader)
• BSN/MSN

Preferred:

• CEN/CPEN
• Current competency in Adult and Pediatric emergency care including triage, resuscitation, and CDU

Pay Range:

USD $136,708.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
