Position: Painter - Full Time, Temp-to-Hire

Location: Jupiter, FL 33458

Pay Rate: $22-$26/hour

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Seeking a US Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist, or Military Spouse preferred .

Seeking an experienced Painter to support facilities operations in Jupiter, Florida. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with hands-on painting experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and maintaining safe, professional workspaces.

The ideal candidate will have experience painting residential, commercial, or industrial structures and be comfortable with surface preparation, drywall patching and finishing, color mixing, and multiple paint application methods.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
• Perform drywall patching and finishing as needed
• Protect surrounding surfaces using masking tape and other protective materials
• Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Mix and match paint colors to meet project specifications
• Use power tools and drills for mixing, sanding, and related painting work
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in a clean and safe condition
• Complete work according to project specifications, timelines, and safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with team members, contractors, and other personnel

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• US Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist, or Military Spouse preferred .
• At least 2 years of relevant painting experience required
• 5 years of painting experience is preferred
• Experience with residential, commercial, and/or industrial painting
• Experience with drywall patching and finishing
• Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
• Experience using brushes, rollers, sprayers, sanding equipment, and other painting tools
• Ability to mix and match paint colors
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned projects efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a research, hospital, or university environment is a plus
• Must be comfortable working the 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM schedule
