Deputy Sheriff

The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Sheriff position. Applications will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on June 30th, 2026 . Deputy Sheriffs perform a variety of law enforcement duties, including patrolling county roads and communities, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, investigating accidents and criminal activity, enforcing state and local laws, serving legal documents, transporting inmates, and maintaining public safety. Deputies also work closely with community members, schools, and other public safety agencies to provide professional law enforcement services throughout Audubon County. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment while serving the citizens of Audubon County with professionalism and integrity.
