HVAC ApprenticeThe HVAC Apprentice performs entry-level HVAC installation, maintenance, and service support under the direction of senior technicians. This role assists with commercial HVAC and refrigeration work while developing the skills required to advance into a technician-level position. The apprentice is expected to maintain a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to learning in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systemsLoad, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipmentAssist in positioning, securing, and installing HVAC equipmentUse hand and power tools as directedMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sitesFollow safety procedures and proper PPE usage at all timesParticipate in on-the-job training and technical education programsDevelop foundational HVAC skills for advancement to technician levelSupport general jobsite labor and daily operational needsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredEnrollment in or completion of HVAC trade school or technical program preferredValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamStrong work ethic, punctuality, and reliabilityBasic math and communication skillsWillingness to learn and develop technical skillsPreferred SkillsEPA certification or willingness to obtain when eligibleBasic understanding of HVAC systems and toolsConstruction or mechanical experience preferredInterest in long-term HVAC career developmentWork EnvironmentCommercial and residential job sitesIndoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditionsFrequent physical labor including lifting, climbing, bending, and kneelingExposure to mechanical equipment, tools, and construction environmentsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysTraining and career advancement opportunities
