Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianPay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance and production team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial machinery and equipment while helping ensure safe, efficient plant operations.Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Schedule (2-2-3) - OvernightsRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing experienceFormal training in specialty areas such as:PneumaticsHydraulicsMechanical systemsPLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)InstrumentationStrong mechanical troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manualsSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, adjust, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical problems and identify equipment malfunctionsAssemble machinery using hand and power tools and welding equipmentOperate hoisting and lifting equipment to position machinery and componentsStart up, shut down, set up, and adjust equipment as neededInspect machinery and equipment for irregularities and defectsPerform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and routine serviceMaintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS systemSupport planned plant shutdowns and emergency repairsOperate and monitor process control machinery and equipmentHelp ensure equipment operates efficiently and within required process parametersFabricate and repair components using machine tools and metalworking equipmentAssist with welding, cutting, grinding, machining, and fabrication as neededFollow all safety, environmental, housekeeping, and operational proceduresAssist with training new employees and support maintenance teams during major repairs and outagesWork Environment:This position requires working in a manufacturing environment that may include heat, noise, dust, moving equipment, heights, and physically demanding conditions.
