The analyst is responsible for day-to-day functions in the areas of payroll, benefits, compensation, analytics, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). The analyst will complete complex tasks, project planning and coordination with internal and external business partners. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who is self-directed, a strong collaborator, critical problem solver, and who enjoys working on a wide breadth of responsibilities.**Exciting work you will do:**The essential duties and responsibilities of the Total Rewards Analyst position will comprise a variation of some or all, and are not limited to, the following:* Support key Total Rewards functions across payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, analytics and reporting* Assist with multi-state payroll processing using a third-party payroll system* Provide day-to-day benefits support, including inquiries, changes, open enrollment, wellness, retirement, and leave programs (FMLA, STD and LTD)* Maintain HR systems and data integrity; serve as an HRIS super user* Support the planning and administration of compensation policies, pay structures, and related procedures* Maintain job architecture and ensure the integrity of compensation systems* Administer monthly commission and quarterly bonus cycles across multiple plans and roles* Audit time and attendance records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies with managers* Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve processes* Provide ad hoc compensation, financial, and operational reports using HRIS and other data sources* Contribute to HR-related projects through data analysis, reporting and process documentation* Perform other duties and projects as assigned**Competencies you possess:*** Service Excellence* Results, Action Oriented* Managerial Courage* Planning and organizing* Strategic Thinking* Inspiring and Motivating Others**What you’ll need:*** **Work Experience:** 1 year experience in payroll, benefits, compensation, analytics, or HRIS role; strong knowledge of federal and state pay regulations* **Education:** High School diploma or GED* **Analytics/Computer Skills:** Prior experience working with HRIS systems; intermediate Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)* **Organization Skills:** Excellent organizational ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed* **Cross-functional skills:** Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service* **Communication Skills:** Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; excellent negotiating skills; excellent presentation skills to influence; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; high degree of discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information* **Physical, Mental and Visual Skills:** Ability to see, talk and hear; ability to sit for 8 hours a day; reasonable accommodations may be made for disability* **Physical Environment:** Normal office environment; occasional warehouse, fabrication environment and exposure to moving equipment**Qualifications we prefer but don’t require:*** **Work Experience:** 3 years experience in payroll, benefits, compensation, analytics, or HRIS role; strong knowledge of federal and state pay regulations* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources, business or related degree* **Certifications:** SHRM-CP, PHR, Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification* **Computer Skills:** Prior experience working with Paycor, Workday, UKG, Dayforce or similar HRIS systemsThe Kendall Group is an equal opportunity employer.
