Detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department with daily administrative and financial tasks. This role is ideal for someone dependable, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.

The Accounting Assistant will work directly with and support the company Accountant in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Enter invoices, payments, and financial data accurately
• Organize and maintain accounting records and files
• Reconcile statements and assist with account tracking
• Support order processing and billing functions
• Assist with payroll and other administrative accounting duties as needed
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoices and payments
• Provide general office and administrative support to the accounting department

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
• Comfortable working with numbers and data entry accurately
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with QuickBooks preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration experience is a plus
