Senior Corporate Accountant

DescriptionKforce's client, one of the best companies to work for in Long Island, NY, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant.Summary:Reporting to the AVP, Corporate Accounting, you will interface various parties including external auditors, portfolio management, treasury, acquisitions, strategic planning, and tax teams. This position requires relevant accounting experience, with a focus on reporting (GAAP and performance reporting), but will also provide for the ability to work on special projects as needed. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic, well-run, respected industry leader.Duties Include:* Assist in aspects of monthly and annual financial period close* Prepare audit schedules and coordination with independent auditors* Prepare journal entries (including analysis and documentation)* Analyze and reconcile accounting records vs. budget and forecasts* Perform ad-hoc reporting for partners/internal departments* Tracking of management company revenues and related collections* Approve and code invoices* Assist with special projects and efficiency initiativesRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred* CPA preferred* 6+years of corporate or public accounting experience (real estate a plus)* Strong analytical skills, with a focus on detail* Good communication skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and third parties* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at onceJob TypeDirect HireCompensation110000 - $132500
