You will report to the **Warehouse Supervisor** and will have an **onsite** work schedule in **Creedmoor, NC.**We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Material Handler. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of materials within the assigned stockroom while accurately maintaining inventory levels. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.***Schedule: Weekend Shift – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.*****To be considered for the Material Handler opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:*** High school diploma or equivalent is required.* Two years of previous stockroom and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment required.* Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends* Basic Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Outlook, and Word* Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.* Proficient in using ERP inventory management software and data entry tools.* Must be able to safely lift 20-30 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.* This position requires frequent standing, lifting and squatting.**As a Material Handler, you will:*** Verify and receive materials into the stockroom, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.* Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.* Manage material movement within the stockroom and plant, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials using various equipment.* Work with a team to maintain an efficient and accurate inventory management process consistent with company policy* Store and organize materials effectively, ensuring proper labeling and traceability.* Perform kitting activities, assembling components according to specified instructions.* Fill orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer requirements while maintaining accurate records of transactions.* Enter inventory data into our ERP system, maintaining up-to-date records of stock levels and movements.* Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary.* Maintain product identification and location programs.
