Room Attendant

Overview Job Level: Entry Location: HSB - San Bernardino, CA 92408 Salary Range: $16.90 - $16.90 hourly Responsibilities Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Clean guest rooms to DKN Hotels' standards (making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, wiping down walls, etc.). Clean rooms within the minutes‑per‑room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager. Follow DKN Hotels' policy for room amenities. Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately. Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift; never leave the property with key. Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention. Assist with laundry as needed. Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Deliver DKN's "Home Away From Home" experience. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time. Qualifications Previous one (1) year experience preferred. Basic cleaning skills. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, and fellow team members. Ability to prioritize, organize, and make good judgments. Dependable. Physical Requirements Frequently walking indoors and outdoors, climbing stairs. Repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, lifting and carrying. Reaching above, at, and below shoulder level. Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 20 lbs.
