Human Resources Generalist

We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist. The duties of the Human Resources Generalist may include: Assistance with Onboarding, Payroll and Benefits administration Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws Maintains electronic personnel files ensuring all necessary forms and documents are completed and uploaded to the HRIS Responsible for compliance with I-9 completion and retention, E-Verify, reasonable accommodations, and posted notices Provides communication and assistance with the annual benefit open enrollment process and answers routine benefits questions Recruitment of new employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained. Including job postings, screenings, reviewing resumes, outreach and preparing offers. Facilitates and/or participates in manager and supervisor training as needed Tracks and coordinates employee review schedules and ensures information is in the HRIS Creates, updates, and maintains job descriptions Assist with employee relations as needed Assist with AA and EEO plans as needed Represent organization at colleges, universities and job fairs as needed Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor The ideal candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Considerable knowledge of HR principles and practices Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and coaching skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, or related field A minimum of 5+ years of broad based Human Resources experience 2 years Human Resources/ Payroll/Training experience Work on-site in Tallahassee, FL Marquis Software Development, Inc. participates in E-Verify ( #J-18808-Ljbffr Marquis Software Development, Inc.
