Overhead Door/Wayne Dalton in Pensacola, Florida , is looking for a full-time Production Manufacturing Operator to join their team to assist in the operation of designated and assigned equipment and machinery including but not limited to the specific press, mill, down stacker, and uncoiler. This is an entry level production operator role in the SRF department. The right candidate will be operating designated equipment and machinery across various lines, including presses, mills, downstackers, uncoilers, and more. The role requires training in a specific area with proficiency expected within 3-4 months.



Job Responsibilities

• Operate the APBR Line, including coil loading/unloading, uncoiler operation, steel straightener adjustments, press and mill operations, down stacker management, and logging scrap.
• Manage the Retainer Line, including coil handling, uncoiler setup, straightener adjustments, product changeovers, and quality checks .
• Operate the 3" U Bar Line and 3-4" U Bar Line, including die changes and product labeling.
• Handle the HS0-2/HS-3 Lines, including stacking, changeovers, QC checks, and logging.
• Run the RSX/2" U Bar Lines, 2" Horizontal and Vertical Track Lines, and Angle Line with similar responsibilities of coil handling, equipment operation, product changeovers, and quality assurance.
• Operate presses with proper loading, securing, and QC procedures.
• Follow start-up and end procedures for assigned areas, including shutdowns and lock-out/tag-out as trained.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
• Verify product specifications through inspections and measurements.
• Use hand tools, cranes, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Comply with safety protocols and wear PPE consistently.
• Assist in maintaining operational standards and support other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• Industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds periodically; frequently lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to 90% of shift.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am-4:30pm (Weekday and Saturday mandatory over-time as required.)
