A well-established boutique law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Trial Paralegal for an immediate temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and has strong trial preparation experience.
Position Overview
The firm is looking for a seasoned paralegal who can step in quickly and provide support on personal injury matters through all stages of litigation, with a particular emphasis on trial preparation and case management. They are very busy with several upcoming trials.
Responsibilities:
- Manage personal injury litigation files from inception through trial
- Schedule depositions and mediations
- Assist with interrogatories
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, notices, discovery, and correspondence
- Coordinate and assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness preparation, trial binders, and document management
- Review and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and case documents
- Maintain case calendars and monitor litigation deadlines
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, experts, and court personnel
- Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
- Prior trial and/or trial preparation experience is required
- Strong knowledge of Florida civil litigation procedures
- Experience managing discovery and preparing cases for mediation, hearings, and trial
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Position Details:
