General Production Worker

Job Title: Production Worker

Overview

Support a manufacturing line by operating equipment and performing hands-on tasks that help transform raw materials into finished products. This role involves repetitive work, attention to detail, and rotating between multiple positions on the line.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, load/unload materials, and assist with basic troubleshooting

• Insert small components into tooling using hand tools

• Perform kitting: remove, clean, stack, and return components to the line

• Inspect finished products for quality (shape, consistency, defects)

• Weigh product batches to ensure they meet specifications

• Package products: assemble boxes, label, and palletize (~60 boxes/shift)

• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures

• Rotate between production, inspection, and packaging tasks as needed

Requirements

• Manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred

• Strong hand dexterity for repetitive, detail-oriented work

• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work overtime

• Steel-toed shoes required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Nice to Have

• Machine operation experience

• Quality inspection experience

• Experience with plastics, materials processing, or similar environments

Work Environment & Shifts

• 1st: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM M-F

• 2nd: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM M-F

• 3rd: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM Monday–Friday (3rd ends Saturday morning)

• Climate-controlled (~65°F), manufacturing setting

• PPE required (steel toes, safety glasses, hearing protection)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of INDIANAPOLIS, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
