Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room/Med-SurgWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room with the flexibility to float to Med-Surg as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Emergency and Med-Surg nursing, with OB experience preferred.Shift DetailsDay Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)Weekend Requirement: Yes – Every 3rd weekendJob ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and Med-Surg unit.Monitor and interpret vital signs and assess patient conditions effectively.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Assist in the management of dysrhythmias as part of patient care.Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).Floating within the scope of practice to meet facility needs as required.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of nursing experience in both Emergency Room and Med-Surg settings required.OB experience preferred.Current Minnesota state nursing license (pending license accepted; MN is not a Compact state).Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, TNCC.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment.Additional InformationLocal candidates will not be considered for this position, as applicants must reside outside a 25-mile radius of the facility. Finalized requests for time off must be included upon submission, with no more than 10 days of RTO allowed per assignment. A flexible schedule may be accommodated based on the unit's needs.Facility DetailsType of Facility: Critical Access with a total of 89 staffed beds. Nursing staff will wear black scrubs, while CNAs and LPNs will have designated colors for their roles. Parking is free for all staff members.
