Accountant I

Job Description Under close supervision, responsible for applying standard professional accounting principles and assisting with basic accounting functions. The Accountant I supports financial processes by maintaining accurate financial records, processing journal entries, and assisting in routine reconciliations in compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in billing information entry and tracking, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Balance books and assist in preparation of basic profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements. Learn to interpret financial reports for internal stakeholders. Monitor and prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports for designated projects. Provide accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. Support preparation of federal, state, and local reports and tax filings under close supervision. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems such as journal entries, General Ledger postings, Accounts Receivable and Payable transactions. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision. Attention to detail with good organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Interest in learning technical and analytical accounting skills in the semiconductor/hardware industry. Basic understanding of accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, and financial reporting. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field No experience necessary.
