Medical Front Office Coordinator

Job Description Job Description Support a primary care, specialty practice, and multispecialty clinic as a Medical Front Office Coordinator serving adult, pediatric, and mixed patient populations. Reporting to the practice manager, this role coordinates front-office operations, supports providers, and helps deliver an organized, welcoming patient experience. Referral and authorization processing will be performed occasionally. Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
Manage reception activities and welcome patients.
Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments.
Register patients accurately and maintain medical records.
Process referrals and authorizations as needed.
Provide administrative support to providers. Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in medical front-office administration.
Coursework in medical office administration.
Experience with electronic health records and practice management software.
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and HIPAA compliance.
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail.
