In this role you will work as part of a team responsible for developing and executing geotechnical engineering projects. This position will provide technically challenging work with excellent opportunities to grow within the firm. You will be responsible for Conducting analyses of geotechnical and civil engineering systemsEvaluating construction claims related to ground conditions, earthwork, and earth structures (support of excavations, foundations, retaining walls, etc.)Preparing conceptual designs for the repair/restoration of geotechnical systemsPerforming peer reviews Leading project teams on the execution of project deliverables (field investigations, analyses, written and oral presentations of findings)Developing project work with new and existing clients You will have the following skills and qualifications Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university with at least 5 years’ post-grad experience Alternatively, a M.S. in Civil Engineering specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university, plus at least 10 years’ post-grad experience, will be consideredP.E. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Manager level and above total compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities, which will be assessed during the interview process.
