We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team at Avir at Paris in Paris, Texas. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service for our residents, guests, and employees. Utilize various cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques to prepare high-quality meals

Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs

Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary

Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes

Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal

Direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals

High school diploma or GED

Previous Nursing Home experience preferred

Culinary and/or food service experience in a healthcare facility preferred
