Federal Project Manager

At HDR we are seeking a Federal Project Manager to lead small to medium single‑discipline or large routine projects, supporting senior project management on large projects. Responsibilities Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single‑discipline projects or large routine projects. Role will also directly support Senior Project Management team on large scale projects. Actively participate in project pursuits and developing project scope. Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance. Conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents in conjunction with multidisciplinary staff. Develop, maintain, and update engineering schedules and spending plans; track progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to check work is completed within approved schedule and cost parameters. Facilitate or participate in project reviews in collaboration with Accounting and technical team management. Provide project management services as a staff‑augmented resource, operating as part of the client’s day‑to‑day project team. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture. Professional Engineering (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) (AIA) license. PMP Certification. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field. 7 years related experience. A minimum of 2 years project management experience. Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
