Travel ICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 6:30 am - 6:30 pm; floating required.

The Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. This role includes responsibilities that require floating to the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical departments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total care to ICU patients, including those on ventilators and titratable drips.
• Assist in patient hygiene and comfort measures.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system for documentation.
• Support nurses in the Emergency Room with patient transport, medication administration, and blood draws.
• Manage a full assignment of up to 6 Medical Surgical patients or assist with up to 12 patients in an aide capacity.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• ER and Med Surg experience is preferred.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, and mixing medications is preferred.

Floating Requirements:

Nurses are required to float to the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical departments as needed, following a float rotation system.
