Part Time Evenings- 2:30pm-11:00pm, every other weekend and holiday rotation- 32 hours a biweekly pay. Rates starting at $17.25/hour, plus shift differential of $2.50 for evenings and an additional $1.00 for weekends!

At Frederick Living Communities, the Memory Support Nurse Aide provides direct care to residents in Aspen while promoting independence and person-centered care. This role ensures residents physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.

What Youll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility to and from meals and activities
• Support residents with eating and drinking, including meal selection, cueing, and hands-on assistance as needed
• Offer snacks and hydration throughout the day
• Provide redirection and de-escalation techniques for residents with cognitive impairments
• Record and report resident eating habits and vital signs to the coordinator or charge nurse
• Encourage resident participation in leisure activities, social events, walking programs, or other therapeutic activities
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures
• Maintain resident records accurately and in a timely manner
• Administer medications as defined by the medication procedure and physicians orders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents
• Change bed linens and wash residents laundry as needed
• Respond promptly to resident requests and emergencies, including those from family, visitors, or staff
• Monitor resident location and notify the Nurse Supervisor/PC Manager if a resident cannot be located
• Follow proper procedures during emergencies and obtain additional assistance when necessary
• Work all assigned tours of duty
• Abide by the organizations code of conduct
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• CPR/First Aid certification required
• Direct Care Staff certification required
• Minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually
• Prior experience caring for older adults with cognitive impairments preferred
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and comprehension
• Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence
• Commitment to person-centered care practices
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work extra hours as needed
