Jr. Scientist II/X-Ray Crystallographer

ICON

ICON seeks a junior scientist with X-ray crystallography expertise to support clinical research activities and advance therapeutic development. The role involves designing studies, conducting data analysis, and collaborating across functional teams to bring new treatments to patients.

Responsibilities

Design and lead scientific research projects including clinical trials within regulatory and protocol standards
Conduct data analysis, interpret results, and prepare scientific reports for treatment development
Collaborate with biostatisticians, clinical teams, and regulatory specialists on research success
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements
Publish findings in scientific journals and present at industry conferences

Requirements

PhD or equivalent degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or clinical research
Clinical or pharmaceutical research experience with documented project management capability
Strong analytical and statistical data interpretation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary teamwork
Willingness to travel approximately 5% as required
Legal right to work in Maryland
