In this role, you'll play an essential part in supporting high-quality patient care, helping appointments run smoothly, and creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 5 pm
- Create a welcoming and positive experience for patients by helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their dental visit
- Assist the General Dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative treatment, crown and bridge work, fillings, extractions, root canals, hygiene support, and other general dental treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure appointments run efficiently and on schedule
- Take diagnostic records, including digital x-rays, intraoral photos, scans, and impressions as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental health to support positive outcomes
- Monitor patient flow and work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule and minimize wait times
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records as needed
- Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment area
- Collaborate closely with the dental team to support exceptional patient care and day-to-day office operations
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

- Previous dental assisting experience
- Experience in general dentistry strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with dental experience and a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills with the ability to help patients feel comfortable and supported during treatment
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, dependable attitude
- Comfort using dental software and digital imaging technology
- Current Dental Assistant licensure/certification as required by state regulations
- Valid radiology/X-ray certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control standards, and compliance updates
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and dental practice management software
