Responsibilities Registered Quality OB L&D Opportunity – Day Shift This full-time opportunity offers 36 hours per week, full benefits, and a convenient day shift schedule. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Quality OB L&D Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Minimum 2 years L&D experience; OB quality experience preferred. BLS, ACLS (current upon hire) and current Florida nursing license. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Strong understanding of AWHONN, CMQCC, AIM patient safety bundles, and Joint Commission perinatal standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Role and Responsibilities Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing activities. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Provide patient-centered care in the Labor & Delivery unit. Partner with leadership to support quality initiatives, audits, and data review (e.g., perinatal core measures, OB hemorrhage, HTN bundle, neonatal safety). Participate in chart audits, evidence-based practice projects, and compliance monitoring. Support education and competency for L&D staff related to policies, safety bundles, and standards. Participate in OB drills and quality councils.
