Patriot Portable Restrooms is seeking a motivated, personable, and results-driven Fence Sales Representative to join our team in the Carlsbad/San Diego area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping customers find the right fencing solutions for their needs

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for generating new leads, building relationships with contractors and other customers, preparing fencing estimates, and driving sales growth. This is a hybrid sales position, requiring 2–3 days per week in our Carlsbad office and 1–2 days in the field. The schedule may be adjusted based on performance, strengths, and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, handling a combination of sales inquiries and customer service requests.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, contractor outreach, office visits, and job site visits.
• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, builders, property managers, businesses, and residential customers.
• Generate leads and proactively follow up with prospective and existing customers to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Prepare and provide fencing estimates, quotes, and proposals based on customer needs and project specifications.
• Visit job sites and customer locations to assess project requirements, discuss fencing options, and identify opportunities for new business.
• Follow up on quotes and proposals to convert leads into sales and meet sales goals.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive customer experience from initial inquiry through project completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate customer needs, project details, and successful job execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Sales experience is required.
• Experience in fencing, construction, building materials, or working with contractors is a must.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls, networking, visiting job sites, and developing new business.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads, quotes, and customer relationships.
• Proficient with computers, email, and basic office software.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and driven to achieve sales goals.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local field visits.
