We are seeking a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to lead complex, multidisciplinary consulting projects. This is a seller-doer leadership role combining advanced technical expertise, client engagement, and project delivery.

You’ll partner with clients, lead high-performing teams, and shape project strategy while driving financial performance and long-term relationships.

Location: Bay Area, CA or Orange County, CA

Expected Outcomes:

Project & Client Leadership

• Lead complex IH projects with evolving scope, multiple stakeholders, and subcontractors
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change
• Build trusted client relationships and identify follow-on work
• Serve as a key contributor to proposals, pricing, and capture strategy

Technical Excellence

• Lead advanced IH assessments (exposure, air/noise monitoring, IAQ, hazard evaluation)
• Serve as senior technical reviewer ensuring quality and regulatory compliance
• Conduct audits and provide expert EHS/IH guidance
• Deliver clear, defensible technical reports

Business & Financial Performance

• Drive revenue, margins, and overall project financial success (NIBT, DSO)
• Ensure accurate forecasting, invoicing, and accounts receivable oversight

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams
• Develop junior and mid-level IH and PM staff
• Contribute to Weston’s PM and technical communities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• CIH certification (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in IH, Environmental Health, OHS, or related field
• 10+ years project management experience on complex consulting projects
• 7+ years IH/EHS technical experience
• Strong expertise in IH sampling, exposure assessment, IAQ, and regulatory compliance
• Proven seller-doer experience (client engagement, proposals)
• Strong financial management and communication skills

Preferred

• Advanced degree
• Consulting experience across diverse clients
• Leadership in technical or PM communities

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions, in accordance with California law. The base salary range for this position for candidates located within 50 milesthe California Bay Area is $119,632-$158,587-$197,181.  

Salary Range: $104,027 - $137,901 - $171,462
