Supply Chain SpecialistEmployment Type: Full timeShift: Day ShiftLocation: Silver SpringPosition PurposePerforms daily Supply Chain Management duties related to the acquisition and distribution of goods to support acute and/or ambulatory care departments or proactively supports/maintains one or more computer-based support systems to ensure continuous operational availability to end users. Supports various operations, projects, program management, & service delivery initiatives. Interacts with various levels of management and professionals, colleagues & vendors providing & disseminating information. Independently completes multiple activities pertaining to the planning, implementation, coordination & evaluation of various Supply Chain operations, projects, program management, & service delivery.As a "Supply Chain Specialist" you will:Researches, collects & analyzes information. Identifies opportunities, develops solutions, & leads through resolution.Collaborates on performance improvement activities as indicated by outcomes in program efficiency & patient experience.Responsible for distribution of analytical reports.Utilizes multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports & develop educational materials.Research & compiles information to support ad-hoc operational projects & initiatives.Maintain appropriate staffing coverageMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Two (2) to Three (3) years Supply Chain experienceAbility to read, write, speak and comprehend English.Ability to focus on assignments and seek assistance as required to meet all defined productivity and quality expectations.Ability to utilize ERP inventory applications, basic Excel spreadsheets, and email notification reviews to accurately process and receive orders.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with fellow Supply Chain colleagues and clinical contacts.Pay Range: $20.20 - $30.29Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
