What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, adapting to diverse patient needs and privacy standards
• Utilize the nursing process to assess and deliver quality care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Delegate tasks and coordinate resources to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic electronic health records
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Uphold safety standards in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities efficiently

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
  • NIH certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
  • Proficiency in Epic documentation
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas
  • Excellent communication and judgment skills
