Sonographer, Registered - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Overview As a Registered Sonographer on our team, you will work in an environment deeply committed to your personal well‑being and professional development within a setting renowned for clinical excellence. The registered sonographer performs a variety of technical imaging procedures and provides quality care to patients. Responsibilities Assess patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines. Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS. Train students and staff as assigned. Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families. Assess data reflective of patient status. Interpret information needed to identify each patient’s requirement and/or specific needs, and provide care per applicable policy and procedures. Interact with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate, and manage the plan of care. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training. No prior experience required. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd, or Neurosonography. CPR certification required.
