Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurosciences and related patient care practices. This role involves working with patients suffering from neurological disorders, strokes, seizures, and post-operative care for spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 20-bed Neuro Unit.
• Manage patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning.
• Coordinate and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and tracking patient progress.
• Assist in the management of G-tubes and other specialized equipment.
• Participate in the titration of medication per physician protocol when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and NIHSS certification required at time of submission.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC and recent experience is necessary.
• Strong neuro experience and familiarity with G-tubes is a must.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
